Science tells us that we have fifty to seventy thousand thoughts per day — and out of those thousands of thoughts that you think — 90% are the same ones as the day before.
If you believe that your thoughts are somehow connected to your life, then the same thoughts always lead to the same choices. The same choices always lead to the same behaviors and the same behaviors create the same experiences. The same experiences produce the same emotions and those very same emotions drive the same thoughts.
How you act in how you feel is called your personality, and your personality creates your reality.
It’s true that what you think and feel, you create — and you create what you believe.
Wouldn’t it be nice if you could have a thought and then get the result you wanted immediately?
Unfortunately, that’s not going to happen because most of us haven’t learned how our mind works, so we don’t know how to control it.
And because we can’t control it, we can’t FOCUS it.
If you want to create a new reality, a new life, then you would have to start to think about what you have been thinking about and change your thoughts!
You would have to think differently and do different things. You would have to change the way you see things so that the things you see will change.
You have to become aware of your thoughts and direct them more accurately.
It’s not how smart you are in life, but HOW YOU ARE SMART
Your mind is a massive operating system that has power but no direction and you haven’t been taught how to use it properly! You weren’t taught in school! It’s not part of the school curriculum and never will be.
of your results in life come from your massive hard drive called the subconscious mind and only 2-4% from your conscious mind?
Did you know that your mind operates like a global positioning system (GPS) and the choices you make are constantly moving you toward or away from your big goals and the life of your dreams?
Your mind is a specialized GPS controlled by your thoughts and emotions.
So why do we know so little about our mind and how it works?
We train and domesticate our pets so carefully, yet when it comes to ourselves, the most valued of all, we let our thoughts and mind run wild.
Maybe you’ve even been taught (trained) to limit yourself. Maybe your parents or grandparents, or the people you looked up to when you were younger, like your teachers, taught you to limit yourself. Maybe they told you that you’ll never be somebody, or you’re too weak, or it’s really hard to achieve your goals. And with enough reinforcement, you agreed and limited yourself.
Imagine a baby elephant born in captivity, the life of performing in the circus. The elephant is trained at birth to be confined to a very small space. Its trainer will tie its leg with a short rope and hammer a stake in the ground to keep it in a small enclosure.
This confines the elephant to an area that is controlled by the length of the rope. That area now becomes the elephant’s comfort zone. It can only go as far out as the rope will allow… and though the baby elephant will try to break the rope, it’s too strong.
And so, the elephant learns and accepts that it can’t break the rope. It learns that it has to stay in this confined area based on the length of the rope.
When the elephant grows up into a giant mammoth and could easily break that rope, it doesn’t even try.
It has learned that, as a baby, that it couldn’t break the rope, so it accepts it as a permanent FACT.
And in this way, the largest elephant can be confined to the tiniest and smallest of spaces, based on this simple practice. The enclosure becomes its comfort zone.
We can easily be trained and become as conditioned as this baby elephant!
Maybe this describes you.
Maybe you’re trapped in a comfort zone of some kind. Maybe something as puny and as weak as a small rope that controls an elephant is controlling you – those little bosses in your head. But, in your case, the rope consists of limiting beliefs and the images that you received without your permission when you were young and helpless to reject them.
But here’s the good news – it’s not too late!
Managing your mindset is the SINGLE most important action you can take to succeed in your life and business.
Allow Your Mind To Do What It Is Capable Of Doing
When I help entrepreneurs get control of their mindset, I start by helping them by seeing the old thinking that’s holding them back — we identify the old patterns of thought that are standing in your way and then establish simple steps to create new ones.
I work with you to establish clear focus not just with the actions you will be taking, but with real clarity in your mind so that your thoughts, dreams and opportunities align with your goals. Once we expand your mindset ceiling to the level that you want, the success of your goals come fast and easy.
You just can’t become a better version of yourself and enjoy the future you want from where you are today without a clear vision and a strategic and measurable action plan.
When we work together to organize your thoughts, create a blueprint for the life you want and build a roadmap that will ensure that you will achieve your goals, you’re going to look back on your life in six months and wonder “who was that old version of myself!”
